Privacy policy
This page describes what this platform stores about you and who is responsible for it. It also explains what you can ask us to do with it, and how to complain. It is written to match what the software does.
In effect from 1 September 2026
Who is responsible for your data
Sikar Career Point decides what is stored about you and why. In the language of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, they are the data fiduciary and you are the data principal.
Jakhal Labs built and maintains this platform on their behalf, and handles the data only in order to run it.
The registered details and the contact for data questions are below. If that block says the details are still coming, they have not been confirmed yet and we have not guessed at them.

What we store
When you create an account we store your name and your email address. If you sign in with Google we also store the profile picture Google gives us.
When you give consent we store that you gave it, with the date and time. We also store whether you told us you are under 18. If you did, we store whether a parent or guardian consented for you.
As you study we store which programmes you joined, how far into each lesson you watched, and which lessons you finished.
When you send an enquiry or a support query we store your name, your phone number and your message. We also store the email address, city and programme, if you gave them.
Why we store it
Your name and email identify your account and let us send you a sign-in link.
Your progress is stored so that a lesson resumes where you stopped, and so the syllabus tracker can show what you have finished.
Your enquiry is stored so that Sikar Career Point can answer it.
What this platform does not do
There is no analytics code, no advertising pixel and no tracking script anywhere on this site or in the student area. No page you visit is reported to anyone.
You are not profiled, and no decision about you is made automatically.
Your data is not shared with anyone beyond the service providers listed below, each of which handles it only in order to run the platform.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. It lasts 30 days, and signing out or deleting your account ends it.
There are no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies. A sign-in link sent to your email is valid for 15 minutes.
Who else handles your data
Vercel hosts the website and Neon hosts the database.
Bunny delivers the video lessons and the study material files.
Resend sends sign-in links and enquiry acknowledgements. Upstash is used to limit how often a form can be submitted, which is how the enquiry form is protected from abuse.
Google is involved only if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
If you are under 18
The Act treats anyone under 18 as a child. Sainik School aspirants can be ten years old, so this is a real case and not a formality.
If you tell us you are under 18, we ask one more thing. A parent or guardian must confirm that they have read this policy and agree on your behalf. That confirmation is stored with its date and time, and nothing is stored about you before it is given.
We do not track children, monitor their behaviour, or show anyone advertising. There is no advertising anywhere on this platform, for anyone.
A parent or guardian can ask for the account to be deleted at any time, and can use the contact above for anything else.
How long we keep it
Your account and your study progress are kept for as long as your account exists.
An enquiry is kept as a record of a conversation the institute had, and it survives the deletion of your account. What survives is described in the next section.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, from your account page. You do not have to ask anyone.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. Your account, your sign-in sessions, any linked Google account, your programme enrolments and all of your lesson progress are removed from the database. No hidden copy is kept.
Any enquiry you sent is kept as a business record. Your name, phone number, email address, city and message are erased from it, and its link to your account is removed. What is left is that an enquiry arrived, which programme it was about, and what came of it.
If you would rather ask than do it yourself, the contact at the top of this page can do it for you.
Withdrawing your consent
You agreed to us storing your details when you first signed in. You can take that agreement back at any time, and it should be as easy to take back as it was to give.
Deleting your account from your account page withdraws it completely and removes what we hold, in one step.
If you want to withdraw consent without deleting your account, ask the contact above. Be aware that we cannot keep your progress or your enrolments without storing them, so in practice most of the platform stops working for you.
Your rights
You can ask what is stored about you. Your account page lists your details, and counts of your enrolments, your progress records and your enquiries. Ask the contact above for anything it does not show.
You can correct your details. Your name is editable from your account page; ask the contact above for anything else.
You can have your data erased, yourself, from your account page.
You can nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to act. Ask the contact above to record a nomination.
You can complain, and the next two sections explain how.
If something is wrong, tell us first
If you think your data has been handled badly, raise it with the contact named at the top of this page. Do the same if a request of yours has not been answered.
This is the route to use before going to the regulator, and we will answer it.
Complaining to the Data Protection Board
You can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Do that if you have already raised a grievance with us and are not satisfied with how it was handled.
The Board is the independent authority set up under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 to hear complaints of this kind.
Changes to this policy
If what the platform does changes, this page is updated to match it. The date at the top says when it last changed.
